Abu Dhabi families can choose from more than a dozen organized summer programs that opened registration on July 1 across the emirate.

School holidays began earlier this month and run through early September, creating peak demand for indoor and shaded activities when daytime temperatures regularly exceed 41 degrees Celsius.

Venues Offering Family Programs

The Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island runs weekend workshops for children aged five to twelve that focus on art and local history. At the same time, Warner Bros. World on Yas Island offers extended family hours with character meet-and-greets every Thursday through Sunday until August 31.

Both sites sit within 30 minutes of central neighbourhoods such as Al Maryah Island and Khalifa City, making day trips straightforward for most residents.

Attendance data released by Abu Dhabi Tourism last week recorded 48,000 family visitors across its partner attractions during the first week of July, a 19 percent rise from the same period in 2025.

Child tickets at the Louvre Abu Dhabi start at 63 AED while a full-day pass at Warner Bros. World costs 240 AED for ages three to ten, with online bundles available that combine both venues for 380 AED per child through the end of the month.

Booking and Access Details

Parents should reserve places through the Abu Dhabi Tourism app or website at least 48 hours ahead, especially for the Saturday workshops that fill first. Free shuttle buses run from the Corniche bus station to Saadiyat Island every 40 minutes on weekends, and Yas Island offers ample covered parking at the main entrance.

Those planning multiple visits can purchase a seven-day family pass for 520 AED that covers entry to both locations plus one workshop session, valid until September 5.
